Stating that improvement in primary healthcare and education sectors are areas of prime focus for the government, Coordinator, Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell, Tassaduq Hussain Mufti today urged the officials to maintain utmost levels of sanitation in the establishments to provide patients and students with sanitary healing, studying environment.Tassaduq Mufti said this during his visit to Chest Diseases Hospital, Kashmir Nursing Home and Kargil Boys Hostel Bemina.During his visit to healthcare establishments, Tassaduq reviewed the status of various public utilities available to the patients and interacted at length with the staff and patients about general conditions.Expressing displeasure over lack of proper sanitation at the centers, Tassaduq Mufti said that sanitation is foremost for everyone’s health and no laxity should be allowed in this regard. 

Emphasizing the need for upgradation and upkeep of female washrooms in the healthcare institutions, he directed for constructing additional washrooms in the complex and regular maintenance for maintaining the hygiene.During the interaction, patients and staff put forth their concerns and issues. Tassaduq assured them that their concerns will be taken up with appropriate forums in the Government. He asked the staff to deliver their duties on humanitarian basis.While visiting the Kargil Boys Hostel Bemina, Mufti took stock of the facilities available to the students.The students requested Tassaduq’s intervention in development of sports infrastructure at the hostel, for which he assured early and prompt action.
