District Development Commissioner Kathua Ramesh Kumar conducted surprise check of various government offices in Hirangar Sub-division today. DDC visited offices of CDPO, PHE Mechanical & Civil , EO Municipality, SDH Hirangar, Sub Centre Chakda, Govt. Higher Secondary School Chakda and checked the attendance and found 12 employees unauthorized absent from duties. Taking strong note of the absenteeism, DDC immediately suspended 4 absentee employees and sought explanation of 8 other employees and with held their salary with immediate effect.Earlier DDC held a review of land acquisition and award cases pertaining to various development works in Sub Division Office Hiranagar and directed SDM Hirangar to speed up the acquisition work.In his visit DDC also interacted with peoples of border villages and listened to their problems which were mainly related to improving basic amenities. He passed directions to the tehsil officers of line and works department to immediate address the projected issues by the border peoples.
