A convey of over 200 cars and nearly 500 two wheelers will form the escort for BJP Chief Amit Shah from airport to party office on his upcoming visit to Chandigarh. He would be welcomed at series of receptions in Mohali and Chandigarh before he checks into party office. said Unit President Sanjay Tandon while revealing the itinerary of two-day visit of BJP surpremo at press briefing held today at Kamalam, Sector 33, Chandigarh. Expressing his satisfaction over the arrangements, Tandon said the workers are in upbeat mood to welcome their national figure.Apart from having a series of meetings with his party workers which are scheduled at Party Office – Kamlam and UT Guest House, Shah will be inaugurating highly renovated hitech party office on day one. The entire three storeys wi-fi campus includes 400 seater Babu Shri Chand Goyal auditorium, Nana Deshmukh e-library and Rajesh Gupta Media Centre cum mini auditorium had a facelift and will be inaugurated on his arrival. Library will have collection of around 2000 books on vivid subjects and it will have a research provision too.  Party Chief will also be unveiling a statue of Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay in the party premises. This is the first visit of Amit Shah after the MC election and he will have a review meetings with the each councillor. The tour will be concluded by a session with intellectuals at Law Bhawan Sector 37 before he departs from Chandigarh Shah will be covering Chandigarh as fifth region under the aegis of his 95 days tour after HP, J&K, Tripura and Lakshdweep on the onset of upcoming Lok Sabha Election scheduled in 2019.
