All the Congress MPs and MLAs from Punjab will join Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh in paying obeisance at Sri Harmandar Sahib, Amritsar, on Monday morning.The Chief Minister is scheduled to visit the Golden Temple from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m., before going to Jallianwala Bagh to pay homage to the martyrs. Other programmes on his Amritsar agenda for Monday include a visit to Durgiana Mandir and then the Sri Ram Tirath Sthal.The Chief Minister, who reached Amritsar on Sunday evening after a visit to Tarn Taran, had been planning the Sri Harmandar Sahib visit since taking over the reins of the government in the state but had been constrained by work issues and the relapse of his foot injury problem, with doctors advising him restricted movement, an official spokesperson said.The spokesperson said the Chief Minister, who was accompanied in Tarn Taran by cabinet colleagues Rana Gurjit Singh and Navjot Singh Sidhu, besides the local MLA, will be joined by the other MPs and MLAs in Amritsar. The Chief Minister is also accompanied by Senior Advisor Lt Gen TS Shergill and Media Advisor Raveen Thukral.Besides visiting the family of the martyred soldier JCO Paramjeet Singh in Tarn Taran, the Chief Minister visited the War Memorial in Chheharta, Amritsar, on Sunday.From Amritsar, Captain Amarinder is scheduled to travel to Hoshiarpur on Monday evening to visit Citrus Estate in village Chowni Kalan and a new, state-of-the-art Sonalika tractor manufacturing facility on Jalandhar-Hoshiarpur Road.
