While presiding over the Annual Tech. Event-Tech Fusion-2017 of MIT College, Bani at Badsar in Hamirpur district today, Governor Acharya Devvrat stressed that besides academics students should impart the education of moral values. He said that it was important to fully develop science and technology and students should be given modern education to ensure development of the nation. He said that India was a young Nation and if the students understand their responsibility towards the nation, then the society would develop itself. He advised the teaching community to dedicate themselves for upgrading the knowledge of students and impart moral values in them.The Governor said that the credibility of any institute could be assessed by the students passed out from it and added that as per the record he was told , MIT students established themselves and attained top positions in  various streams. 

He congratulated the management and expressed hope that the Institute would further progressed in the further. He also distributed prizes to the meritorious students of the Institute.Shri Vinod Thakur, Chairman, MIT College of Engineering and Management said that it was the topmost institute in the State for better placement. He also detailed out various activities and achievements of the Institute in academics and sports and other activities. He said that the Institute has set up Entrepreneur Cell and Community Development Cell for developing skill activities among students. Smt. Suniti Thakur, CEO,MIT College proposed vote of thanks.Students of the Institute performed cultural programme on the occasion.Shri Inder Dutt Lakhan Pal, Chief Parliamentary Secretary, Smt. Rupali Thakur, ADC, Shri Ajay Bodh, SP and other prominent people of the district were also present on the occasion.
