Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) MAIN 2017 was today successfully conducted by the central board of secondary education (CBSE) in two parts Paper-I for BE/B Tech and Paper II for B Arch/B Planning at 1,781 centres across the Country for admission in engineering colleges, including the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs), deemed universities and other Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTI).Aayush Garg who has appeared from Hanumangarh while interacting said that the exam was distributed into three sections Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics having 30 questions in each section. He said that overall exam was easier than JEE-2016 in every aspects but students finds tough to solve the maths section.Bhawna from Shimla said that in chemistry- Organic part was given much weightage with chemical reactions and numerical problems but didn’t find tough due to proper time management while Hitesh Garg from Chandigarh speaking about physics said that equal weightage was given to theory and numerical problems which was well categorized from the syllabus.

Meanwhile, Chandigarh based Aryans Group of Colleges has also launched a special scholarship helpline for engineering aspirants. Students who are willing to pursue their higher education in engineering courses under scholarship can give a missed call on Aryans toll-free helpline no 1800-3000-0388.Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group of Colleges while speaking said that every year around 10 lakh students appear in JEE Mains exam for around 2.20 Lakh seats in India but couldn’t pursue their engineering education even after qualifying the exam due to lack of resources or financial constraints. Considering this, Aryans has taken this JEE scholarship initiative in which 50% scholarship will be provided by Aryans and rest 50% will be financed in the shape of education loan.Kataria further added that 100 students would be selected from all over the Country under this scholarship scheme under merit and means basis and scholarship worth of Rs 2 crore would be given by Aryans to the needy and deserving students at Aryans.Prof. B.S Sidhu, Registrar, Aryans Group said that thousands of students are already studying in Aryans under various scholarship schemes including Dr. Kiran Bedi Scholarship scheme, Gen JJ Singh scholarship scheme for wards of Army personnel, Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme launched by Union Minister, Sh. Vijay Sampla; CM, Himachal Pradesh, Sh. Virbhadra Singh for the girls of hilly areas etc.
