JKLF Chief Yasin Malik shifted to Srinagar hospital for health check-up Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) chief Yasin Malik was on Thursday shifted to a private hospital in Srinagar for a medical check-up.Malik is presently being lodged in the central jail Srinagar. He was arrested from his office in Abi Guzar last week. After leaving from the health facility for the jail, Malik called for a complete election boycott. He alleged that “police raaj” had been established in the state by the ruling parties.Meanwhile, a handout issued by the Front said that incarcerated chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF) Muhammad Yasin Malik was today brought to Khyber hospital for medical checkups from Srinagar central jail Srinagar.Malik has been unwell from last many days and is suffering from viral infection. At hospital, doctors took his blood samples for many tests and also a USG was done to ascertain the condition of his kidney stones. As Malik reached hospital many people gathered around him and asked about his health. Women were seen praying for his health. After the medical checkups he was shifted back to Srinagar central jail.Talking to media people present on the occasion, JKLF chairman said that Kashmir has been turned into a police state where even talking and breathing has been curbed by police. He said that this rule of hooliganism is being implemented in the name of democracy which is highly pitiful.

Yasin Malik said that today jails and police stations are filled with children and elderly. Anyone who talks of boycott is being rounded up and put in jail and height of shamelessness is such that today police even raided class rooms to arrest minor students. He said those shameless and callous rulers and their police after caging down thousands and unleashing terror on people is talking of upholding democracy and peace and is asking people to cast votes and defeat those who ask for boycott which is highly ridiculous. He said that this oppression has once again proved the fact that Indian rulers, their stooges in Kashmir and occupational authorities cannot compete resistance camp on political grounds and they only know unilateral violence and oppression. They have handcuffed one side and are providing every facility to another side which has actually proved the fact that these election dramas are nothing but mockery, asserted Yasin Malik. He said that despite this state sponsored violence and oppression, people of Jammu Kashmir will never shun the path of resistance and this struggle will continue till the achievement of the sacred goal. While appealing people of Jammu Kashmir to boycott upcoming Indian election drama, Yasin Malik said that we all should stay away from Indian tactics and refrain from voting as this is detrimental to our sacred cause and sacrifices.
