The Advisor to Chief Minister, Prof Amitabh Mattoo today visited Tulip Garden at Cheshmashahi here to take stock of the work being carried out in the world famous tourist attraction.The Advisor was accompanied by senior officers of the Floriculture Department.Interacting with the officers, the Advisor said the government has undertaken a massive programme for the promotion of the tourism and related activities besides ensuring proper augmentation of the tourist infra, so that the tourists coming from different parts of the country and globe get quality services.The Advisor was apprised by the officers of the Department that the tulips would be in full bloom from last week of March and the garden would be thrown open to the public soon.He appreciated the efforts of the department and said that they would continue to work for making the world famous gardens of the valley a major tourist attraction for tourists as well as the people of the state.
