The spirit of Sufism and spiritual hubs are the ultimate truth and in inspiration to curb social evils.Speaker Legislative Assembly, Kavinder Gupta said this here today while releasing ‘Kadwa Sach’ a spiritual book penned by Baba Chanchal Singh.The function was organized by Kehkashan Cultural Organization in collaboration with ‘All Artists Welfare Association’.The Speaker while addressing the gathering stressed the need to inculcate spiritual teachings in day to day lives. “With the growing dependence on technology and ever increasing pace of lives, it is essential to take time out for one self and for families to maintain a holistic balance. The spiritual teachings, arts provide us a way to take that mental break and realign ourselves for a peaceful life”, he added.Stressing the need for promoting spiritual realities, he said these provide support to humanity irrespective of caste, creed, color and religion in this materialistic age. He added that books are treasures and are means for preserving our culture, traditions and knowledge for coming generations.Felicitating Baba Chanchal Singh on the launch of the book, Kavinder appreciated his efforts and said spiritualism spreads the message of communal harmony, peace and brotherhood in the society.Social activist and senior political leader, Randhir Salathia, presented a paper on life of Baba Chanchal Singh and his spiritual mission.Prominent among those present on the occasion included Sub Divisional Police Officer, Vivek Shekhar, senior journalist, Suhail Kazmi, social activists and various senior political leaders.
