The Deputy Commissioner, Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today conducted an extensive tour of various remote areas of the district which recently witnessed heavy snowfall.The DC along with the senior officers of district administration visited different villages of D.H.Pora and took stock of the availability of essentials. He inspected FCS&CA outlets and enquired about the distribution process of the food grains. He also interacted with the locals and received appraisal of different problems confronting them.The DC gave on spot directions to the concerned officers for redressal of public grievances. He instructed the Exen PDD to provide supply of power as per schedule to the consumers besides ensure immediate repairs of the damaged transformers.Later, the Deputy Commissioner visited Aharabal and other adjoining villages and reviewed the availability of essentials including supply of drinking water and power. He also took stock of the healthcare facilities being provided to the patients in different health institutions. He directed the officers to ensure better facilities to the public and redress their grievances ad issues on priority.
