In order to discuss and finalize the draft plan for year 2017-18 of district Pulwama, the District Development Commissioner, Muneer ul-Islam convened a meeting here today.On the occasion, the DDC underscored the importance of effective planning in the overall development and said that planning is very imperative for growth. He stressed that due care should be given while implementing the draft proposal.He further emphasized that all the departments should work in a close coordination in order to ensure successful implementation of government sponsored schemes on ground. He also added that the plan formulation should be multidimensional following by a clearly organized sequence of steps besides plan formulation should include various factors such as resources and topography.The meeting was attended by Joint Director Planning, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Assistant Commissioner Development, Engineers from R&B, PHE,PDD, besides all District and sectoral officers.
