Several legislators cutting across party lines met the Chief Minister, Mehbooba Mufti here today and brought many of the issues pertaining to their areas into her notice. They also hailed her for getting the central nod to the ring road projects in Srinagar and Jammu and construction of some important surface tunnels in the State to boost intra state connectivity in Jammu & Kashmir.The legislators brought issues of infrastructure upgradation, road improvement, strengthening of medical and educational facilities in far flung areas and other developmental issues into the notice of the Chief Minister and also sought expeditious completion of on-going developmental projects.

The Chief Minister informed the legislators that her Government is working on a holistic developmental module to bring every area and segment of society in the State into the developmental fold. She assured the legislators that their demands would be looked into and prioritised accordingly.Those who met the Chief Minister included Syed Altaf Bukhari, Sat Sharma, Raja Manzoor, Advocate Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, Ajaz Ahmad Mir, Ravinder Raina, R. S. Pathania, Abdul Majeed Paddar, Syed Aga Baqir, S. Charanjit Singh Khalsa and Ramesh Arora.Former Minister, Koshak Togdan Rimpochay also met the Chief Minister and apprised her of many of the problems of Ladakh region.
