Dr. Khurshid Iqbal Andrabi, Vice-Chancellor, University of Kashmir, called on Governor N.N. Vohra at the Raj Bhavan here.Dr. Andrabi informed the Governor about the deferment of teaching programmes and examination schedules because of the very heavy snowfalls in the recent days. He stated that all the backlog liabilities would be fully cleared by end February and this would ensure that the next Academic Session proceeds as per the envisaged academic calendar (2017-18).The Governor reiterated the importance of the institution remaining fully focused on teaching and research activities and dispels any factor or influence which is likely to affect the University’s goals.
