The Shiromani Akali Dal  on Friday said that after the announcement of the Congress  CM candidate for Punjab by Rahul Gandhi today, it was now turn of the AAP to declare its candidate for the above post and urged Mr. Arvind Kejriwal that instead of continuing to befool Punjabis, he should make public the name of the leader the party intends to field for the post of Chief Minister of the state. In a statement released from the party head office here today, the SAD Spokesman  and advisor to the Punjab Deputy CM, Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that the SAD-BJP alliance   was the first one to declare S. Parkash Singh Badal as its candidate for the post of Chief Minister. He said that though the Congress has done it late but there is still time left for the people to consider the issue. He said that now it was turn of Mr. Arvind Kejriwal to declare its candidate and it cannot continue to befool the Punjabis on the issue.
Lashing out at AAP leadership for trying to mislead the dalits with offer of Deputy CM post, he said that  it was most surprising that Mr. Kejriwal had himself disclosed the  secret of his talks with Mr. Navjot Sidhu that he had offered him the post to deputy CM which Mr. Sidhu had rejected and now he was trying to against mislead the dalit community on the issue. He said that he cannot take dalit community for granted as his own party MP had disclosed earlier that Mr. Kejriwal has a mindset against the dalit community that was the reason why he consistently ignored the elected Member of Parliament from Punjab of his own party.Mr. Sirsa said that instead of trying to befool the community with his offer he should tell the people first who will the candidate of the party for the post of Chief Minister. He said that by pursuing his hidden agenda on the issue, he wants to continue to befool Punjabis although he had announced party CM candidate in Goa long time ago.
