A special meeting of the Punjab BJP was today held here to prepare a strategy for upcoming Assembly elections in Punjab. The meeting was presided over by Union Minister and state party president Vijay Sampla. Party‘s state poll incharge Narendra Tomar, state party affairs incharge Prabhat Jha and National Vice President Avinash Rai Khanna were present during the meeting.After the meeting, the state party chief made an appeal to the workers to stand united and not to follow rumours. He asked them to channelize their energy to ensure a thumping victory of the coalition and create a history.Giving out more details, state party secretary said, “Sampla ji had a meeting with the functionaries, heads of various Morchas, district presidents, incharges and the party candidates. Three separate rounds of discussions were held during which the election blueprint was prepared and the party functionaries were entrusted with various responsibilities. The party workers told to take the achievements of the coalition government to the masses. The candidates were briefed about the poll strategy and were asked to establish a connect with the masses”.
