The Shiromani Akali Dal today dared Aam Admi Party and Congress to forge a pre poll alliance for the present assembly polls in the Punjab instead of working on a secret seat sharing arrangement and said that the unholy nexus between the two post poll partners of Delhi has already been exposed before the people of the state. In a statement released here today, the Union Cabinet Minister and Senior SAD Leader Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that the secret seat sharing arrangement plan of AAP Supremo Arvinder Kejriwal and PPCC Chief Capt Amarinder Singh and his Delhi high command has already been exposed. She said that the open rebellion by the Congress cadre in the state has unfolded the their plan of fielding weak candidates against each other. She said that Congress had put up weak candidates against AAP as per their desire and AAP has reciprocated the same. She said that this arrangement was put up in place so that both parties could forge post poll alliance in the state to form the next government. The SAD leader said the fact is that both the post poll partners of the Delhi want to befool the people of this border state on the pattern of Delhi. Harsimrat Kaur Badal said that it is prerogative of the people to reject or accept any party or alliance.
She said that if both the secret partners think that they can provide better government, then both of them should leave the option of electing them to the voters and present a pre poll alliance based on sacred principles before the people. She said that this is not possible as both the partners are heavily dependent on lying, their survival is dependent on leveling misleading and baseless allegations against their political opponents, they fear that public will punish them for their deeds.Mrs Badal also reminded the PPCC Chief Capt Amarinder Singh that not a single incident has occurred in Punjab from 2007 to 2014 but after the emergence of AAP, now secret partner of Congress, in state in 2014 post UPA era, state was hit by a series of incidents including desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and other religious epics, besides launch of other violent agitations. She said that what Congress did in 1984 in Delhi and other parts of nation, this rookie party wants to replay the same in Punjab. She urged the PPCC Chief to desist from having a secret understanding with those who are least cared for welfare of Punjab and hell bent on destroying the very social fabric of the state with the sole aim to derive political mileage out of it.
