Dr. Sandeep Atre, Founder-Director of Socialigence was the key note speaker on the occasion.While Speaking at the moment Dr. Sandeep Atre said that biggest challenge today is Balancing Intellect with Emotional and Social Skills. Instead of transacting more at thought level one should be connect at emotion level. As the reality is that beneath our thoughts & the real shapers of our lives are our emotions which generally act as the shots, trigger our reactions, and influence our choices.Dr. Atre further added that Social Intelligence can be even defined as Observing nonverbal behavior and understanding emotions for greater interpersonal effectiveness and self-management and Reading faces for spotting emotions.Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT thanked Dr. Atre for sharing his valuable thoughts and information and said that the benefits of social intelligence is at professional & personal level as well .Managers can use these skills for understanding better their team members emotions and thus can motivate them timely.
