Punjab BJP president, Vijay Sampla today exhorted the party cadres to gear up for the upcoming Punjab assembly polls to help register a thumping victory for the third consecutive time. Sampla today separately met the state office-bearers of the party’s Kisan Morcha and Mahila Morcha and discussed the preparations for the state-level booth workers’ conference scheduled for November 20 in Jalandhar. BJP national president Amit Shah is slated to attend the conference.

In the meeting of the Punjab BJP Kisan Morcha held today at the party headquarters here, Kisan Morcha president and former MLA Sukhpal Singh Nannu, Punjab BJP vice-president Harjit Singh Garewal, state party general secretary Manjit Singh Rai, state party secretary Vineet Joshi and state Kisan Morcha general secretaries Gurvinder Singh Bhagta and Kuldeep Singh Bhangewala were present.  The meeting of the Mahila Morcha was attended by state president Mona Jaiswal and general secretary Dimple Bhardwaj.

He asked the workers to propagate achievements of Punjab’s Akali-BJP government and PM Modi-led NDA government at the centre amongst the masses. Sampla said, “PM Modi government has introduced new policies for dalits, backward classes and the deprived sections of the society, while the Akali-BJP coalition government has focused on agriculture, rural development, health and creation of jobs during the last 10 years of its rule and transformed Punjab into an ideal state”.Punjab BJP Mahila Morcha president, Mona Jaiswal said, “Booth workers will participate with enthusiasm in the state-level conference”.
