Saints, Gurus and prophets have always preached the oneness of mankind based on the oneness of God.  Once we understand that God, who has been addressed by numerous names, is one single Supreme Entity, the Supreme Father, this leads us automatically to appreciate the oneness of His creation, the mankind.Sant Nirankari Mandal Chandigarh Parmukh Rev. Mohinder Singh Ji told that this was stated here today by His Holiness Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj, Head of the Sant Nirnakari Mission, while inaugurating the 65th Annual Nirankari Sant Samagam at the vast grounds along Burari Road, with a brief Message to Mankind.  The 3-day Samagam is being attended by lakhs of devotees of the Mission and other God-loving people from all over India and abroad.Baba Ji said that man has always a tendency to fragment humanity on the grounds of religion, caste, language, region and culture.  He has always erected walls of discrimination, hatred and jealousy leading to conflicts and violence.  It is unfortunate, His Holiness said, that even religion which was expected to bring man closer to man, is creating distances.  Wherever there is bloodshed of the innocent, religion is mentioned as one of the factors responsible for the same directly or indirectly.Baba Ji pointed out that all these negative tendencies of discrimination and alienation prevail due to man’s ignorance only.  While moving in the darkness of ignorance, he suffers from such delusions that keep him confused and distanced from fellow-human beings and humanity gets pided.  Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj said that the only means to remove this discrimination, hatred and jealousy is to unite man with God.  Let him seek the light of God-knowledge and appreciate the oneness of this Supreme Entity despite having numerous names.  Once the oneness of the Supreme Father, God is understood, the oneness of His creation, the mankind, is established automatically.Baba Ji said that like persities of Nature, man is bound to have different physical appearances, languages and cultural identities varying from region to region.  Saints, Gurus and prophets never wanted to do away with the same.  They preached and practiced what we call unity in persity.  They were all convinced that human unity we so cherish can be established if we all unite with the One, i.e., God.Man should, therefore, not confine himself to reading and reciting what great spiritual masters have sought to preach through holy scriptures, but adopt and follow the path they show.  And for this, Baba Ji said that we must seek the company of enlightened saints.  It’s they who explain the teachings of the saints, Gurus and prophets in their real sense.Baba Ji said that these Samagams are also organized with the same objective.  Saints and devotees assemble in such a large number from across the globe to show to the world that this one single cord of God-knowledge can bring us together despite our persities based on religion, caste, culture and even socio-economic status.  His Holiness expressed the hope that this message would reach more and more people so that the light of God-knowledge is established and the darkness of ignorance removed.  This is the only way to make life happy here and hereafter, he said.Earlier, on their arrival at the venue of the Samagam, His Holiness, his holy mother Nirankari Rajmata Kulwant Kaur Ji and his gracious spouse Pujya Mata Sawinder Ji were given a floral welcome by the members of the Central Planning and Advisory Board and the Executive Committee of the Sant Nirankari Mandal which has been designated as Samagam Committee.  Then they led the holy trinity in a colourful procession up to dais.  While the holy trinity greeted and blessed the devotees from a flower-bedecked open vehicle, devotees in their thousands welcomed them with the slogans of ‘Dhan Nirankar’.
