Hurriyat (M) Chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Wednesday condemned the use of violence and excessive force by government forces during a crackdown in Anchar, Soura launched early morning after which people took to streets protesting the harassment while teargas shells, pellets and bullets were fired upon them, resulting in critical injuries to dozens of persons, who are battling for life in hospitals.Terming the blinding of two girl students in pellet firing by government forces at Rohama, Pulwama in south Kashmir as worst example of state terrorism, Mirwaiz strongly denounced it and said such barbarism belies the governments concern for the students of the valley.Meanwhile Hurriyat (M) Spokesman expressed deep concern over the flare-up along the Line of Control and International Border between the Indian and Pakistani soldiers, resulting in the death and injury of innocent civilians on both sides. He said such bickering between the soldiers of both sides would continue until the two countries decide to peacefully resolve the vexed Kashmir issue as per the United Nations resolutions or through tripartite talks in accordance with the wishes and aspirations of Kashmiris that would be acceptable to both the countries. The spokesman said on the 118th day on the ongoing uprising, oppression against people by the government forces continued unabated across the valley in villages and far flung areas ransacking homes and beating inmates.
