Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Jhanjeri is going to hold its annual mega event Tech Fest-2016 on 10th November. Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC along with Dr. G.D.Bansal released the poster of the function. The celebrations will comprise cultural events like RAAG, Sur Sangam, Virsa, Mimicry, Lotpot, Dramatics, Solo Dance, Group dance, Fashion Show and Poetry. The Technical events include Ideas, Picture Perception, Energy Efficient Model, Robo War, Robo Race, Jewellery Designing with Electronic Components, Tech Innovation, Lan Gaming, Code Triangle, Tech-o-Bola, Technical Graffiti, Tower power, Wonders out of Blunders and Civil Wars. 

Apart from this Non-Technical Events like Face Painting, Rangoli, Collage Making, Mehandi, Advertisement, Hand Prints, Best out of Waste, Dry Floral Arrangements and Mega Tower will also be organised. Star attraction of the fest will be live performances by famous Punjabi Folk Singer Gippy Grewal and the band Street Jammers.Speaking on the occasion Rashpal Singh Dhaliwal, President CGC, said that about ten thousand students from various colleges and leading schools of Punjab are likely to participate in this function. Special counseling sessions have been arranged for the benefit of the school students which will help them in selecting an appropriate course after their exams.
