Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Niraj Kumar today carried out surprise inspection of various Government offices at Ramnagar.Deputy Commissioner inspected Municipal Office at Ramnagar and took stock of the ongoing work of the Town-Hall. He directed the concerned agencies to expedite the works and ensure completion of the building in time. The DC also reviewed the functioning of Tehsil Office, Sub-District Hospital, Higher Secondary school for Boys, Higher Secondary Schools for Girls and various Government offices besides conducting market survey.He directed the Municipal Committee to ensure cleanliness of the playgrounds and also asked the Department of Floriculture for proper upkeep of the parks and playgrounds. He further directed the Revenue officers to provide services to the people in time bound manner so as to save both money and time of the common masses of far-flung hilly areas. Later, the DC also held a public grievance camp and listened to the problems put forth by the people. He directed the concerned officers to resolve their problems on priority.SDM Ramnagar, Anshul Garg, Tehsildar Ramnagar Romesh Singh besides other officers accompanied the DC.
