Paryas Hemkrish Model School (PHMS) in collaboration with Navyug Margdarshan Society, Ramban organized a debate competition on the topic “Role of citizens in Swachh Bharat Mission”.Member Legislative Assembly (MLA) Ramban Neelam Kumar Langeh was the chief guest on the occasion. He also flagged off an awareness rally which passed through main roads and Maitra Market.Vedika Kamakshi student of 3rd class was adjudged overall best in debate competition, while Uzma Sohil and Salma Bahar secured second and third position respectively. Danish Rather was given consolation prize. Speaking on the occasion, chief guest exhorted upon the students to develop a habit for cleanliness in their day to day life and keep focus on personal and community hygiene.He asked the participants to expand and intensify the sanitation drive in their places of works, localities, villages and institutes of learning.Teacher of GHHS Boys Ramban, Rajinder Atri educated the students about the ways to keep their school, homes and locality clean and green.ZEPO Firdous Ahmed and staff members and prominent people attended the function.
