Ludhiana College of Engineering & Technology, Katani kalan, Ludhiana organized 3 days youth fest at its campus in which more than 42 institutes participated. Deepak Vohra , Indian diplomat, & Additional Secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs was chief guest at the moment .Events such as Mime, skits, dance performances, Marshal Arts, rock band, Singing and others items stole the show where as Bhangra was main attraction of the event. GNIMT, Ludhiana was adjudged first in Bhangra Performance whereas GNDEC, Ludhiana was second. GNDEC, Ludhiana was also winner of Poem recitation & on the spot painting in folk songs & mehndi RIET Phagwara took first position & in rangoli competition GNDEC Ludhiana won .In classical Instrument & Vocal Indian Classical competition CEM kapurthala excelled .LCET shined in fine art & on spot photography.While encouraging the students Deepak Vohra urged them to maintain balance between academics and extracurricular activities. According to him such powerful youth engagement programs seek to awaken, inspire and transform young minds. Youth festivals serve as a meeting place for creative minds to discuss their ideas and allow for testing of their ideas in the face of intense competition, rigorous evaluations and a touch of the celebration.The foot tapping music, the flash-freezing lights, along with the excitement and high spirits of the youth made the party unbridled and exuberant.
