A meeting of the Punjab cabinet sub-committee was held today here to explore and assess the various options regarding regularization of employees in various departments.Chairing the meeting, Punjab Deputy Chief Minister  Sukhbir Singh Badal said each and every aspect of this significant issue should be minutely studied and analysed before arriving at any firm decision. The Deputy Chief Minister also directed the Chief Secretary Mr. Sarvesh Kaushal and Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister-Mr. S.K. Sandhu to examine the issue department wise and category wise besides looking into the mode of recruitment so as to specify the conditions for regularization of services.Badal further said that another meeting of the cabinet sub-committee would be convened shortly.Among others present on the occasion included Revenue Minister Punjab S. Bikram Singh Majithia, Education Minister Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, Finance Minister S. Parminder Singh Dhindsa, Rural Development and Panchayat Minister S. Sikander Singh Maluka, Industries, Commerce and Technical Education Minister Mr. Madan Mohan Mittal, Health and Family Welfare Minister Mr. Surjit Kumar Jyani, Local Government, Medical Education and Research Minister Mr. Anil Joshi, Special Principal Secretary to the Deputy Chief Minister- Mr. Rahul Tewari, Media Advisor to the Deputy Chief Minister-Mr. Jangveer Singh and other officials of various departments.
