MLC Sheikh Ghulam Qadir Pardesi and central Vice president Kashmir National Conference Wednesday said that PDP has lost its agenda after it forged an alliance with BJP. He termed the alliance of PDP with BJP as “historical blunder that opened way for RSS to make efforts to turn a Muslim majority state into Hindu Rashtra.”“PDP has lost its agenda. It is no more a secular party. It is collaborator and facilitator of RSS to implement RSS Hindu Rashtra mission in J&K,” he told KNS.He also expressed concern over the rally carried out by RSS in Jammu, saying: “The communal forces are allowed to take rallies in the state and Shiite mourners processions are being foiled, mourners injured and detained. The state is run by RSS while council of ministers is also rubber stamps.”“Every action of RSS is backed by PDP. PDP is trying its best to keep itself in the good books of RSS, to enjoy power in the state,” he said.“BJP evacuated Gujjar community from their land and shelters and even harassed them by invoking 1947 repetition by BJP Minister Chowdhary Lal Singh in recent past. This proves the ill intention of these communal and frenzy parties who are hell bent to harass, intimidate and maim Muslims for ideological hegemony,” he said while replying to a query.

He said that Government of India has repeatedly shattered the trust of Kashmiris and pro-freedom protests would continue till the trust is restored.Paredesi said that Government of India must initiate unconditional dialogue with the separatist leadership in Kashmir.“By initiating unconditional dialogue with anyone will not change geography of state. The dialogue must be initiated under the supervision of Prime Minister,” he told KNS.“The move by separatist leaders to refuse to meet members of all party delegation was right political decision. They don’t need any sympathy from GoI. The need of the hour is to initiate unconditional dialogue with them,” it reads. He has added by “deceiving Kashmiri leadership in 1953, the GoI has wounded the entire Kashmiri nation.”“Delhi must take immediate initiatives to fill the benign before it becomes cancer,” he added.“GoI has time and again made promises but only to break them. It has created trust deficit between Kashmir and GoI. It is time to act than making further false promises. That is the way out,” he said. (KNS)
