Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jammu Arun Manhas convened a meeting with the officers and representatives of various religious organisations to review the arrangements for ensuing Navratras, Ramnavmi and Chhari Yatra of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi to be taken out on October 1st.ADC directed the officers of the concerned departments to put in place the requisite arrangements well in time and ensure facilities for the convenience of devotees taking part in the Chaddi yatras and Shobha yatras on the first Navratra. The ADC stressed on making elaborate security arrangements and ensure proper traffic management during the festivals.The ADC asked the concerned departments to work in synergy and ensure that the places of historic importance give a festive look with beautiful illuminations and the events are given proper publicity to ensure maximum participation of tourists coming during the festival days.
