The Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Mr. Baseer Ahmad Khan today chaired a meeting to review the compensation case of land acquired for Golf Course at Pahalgam. The Divisional Commissioner directed the authorities of Tourism Department to take up the matter of land acquisition with Deputy Commissioner Anantnag and settle down the issue of 6.5 kanals of land claimed by one namely Hafiz Abdul Rashid and others.The Deputy Commissioner Anantnag also participated in the meeting through video conferencing.Meanwhile, the Divisional Commissioner, who is also the Chairman of Building Construction Committee also chaired another meeting held to discuss and approve the building plans and designs for construction of Red Cross House at Srinagar. He also directed to remove the bottlenecks, if any, in the construction of Red Cross House building.Those present in the meeting were Director Agriculture Kashmir, Director Tourism Kashmir, Registrar SKUAST, CEO PDA, Collector Land Acquisition and senior officers of line departments.
