After a long wait of four and half months , at last with the efforts of Aam Aadmi Party MP Bhagwant Mann, the dead body of  Davinder Singh 28 son of  Nazar Singh, who died in Saudi Arabia on April 25,  has arrived at his native village Rurka near Mullanpur  today morning and later cremated. Mr. Mann visited village Rurka  and expressed  his grief  and sympathies with the family. State Jt. Secy.  Administration and Grievance Cell  Darshan Singh Shankar,  Renowned sports promoter Jagroop Singh Jarkhar,  Bassi Lalton  Parkash Singh Jandiali also attended the  cremation. The parents explained that they had sent their son to Saudi Arabia  by arranging heavy loans and now unable to return after the death of their son.Later interacting  with the media , Mr Mann stressed upon the need to simplify the procedure to bring back the bodies of  unfortunate Indians, who die in foreign countries by Ministry of Foreign Affairs , as the families and relatives in such cases were facing a lot of harassment because of  ignorance about the procedure.

He said that he had to  make a lot of efforts to bring the body of  Davinder Singh back to the family . He informed that the illiterate and poor rural people were the badly affected as the send their wards  to Arab countries for labour  jobs.  He informed that 7-8 more  dead bodies will arrive in the coming days and  dead body of  a boy  of Gurdaspura village in Sangrur district  will arrive tomorrow. He regretted that at present there was no facility of  helpline and the people were ignorant about the procedure. He added that  around one dozen more  applications were being submitted to  the MEA for bringing the bodies back.Answering a question about the controlling of out siders Observers, Mr Mann said in routine all  the national parties depute observers  to states that we had been addressing meetings in Delhi during last elections and the observers Congress and BJP were also looking after Punjab affairs.  He added that the allegations were being  generated  by  SAD  under a deep rooted  conspiracy  against AAP keeping in view the large crows of people in the AAP conferences.
