Seven persons were killed and 12 injured in a passenger vehicle crash on Saturday morning near Nantohn village in Thibaw township of Myanmar's easternmost Shan state, a local police official said.With 30 persons, including drivers and conductors on board, the vehicle on the Nay Pyi Daw - Lashio route crashed and overturned due to a slip on the road caused by heavy rainfall, according to the official, Xinhua news agency reported.A total of 2,229 persons were killed in road accidents across Myanmar in the first half of 2016, according to the Myanmar Police Force.
