The Students and staff of Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions paid homage to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives to save the honour and pride of the country during the freedom movement and after the independence at War Memorial.During the past 70 years India has been invaded by many neighboring countries and our Army has fought these wars so well that they replied to the enemies in a very befitting manner whether it was our officers, soldiers or civilians. Many lost their lives during these wars, to save the honour and pride of the country. It is impertinent to remember the sacrifices of  Hero’s who had laid down their lives during these wars. To pay homage and remember those Hero’s Candle March was also organized at War Memorial, Chandigarh. J.S. Bedi, Chairman Gian Jyoti paid a floral tribute to martyrs. While speaking at the moment he said that young generation have great aspiration and dream about their future they are going to enjoy in this free India. But it is very essential that they should know and remember the past sacrifices made by thousands of the martyrs to achieved this.  They should understand the responsibility on their shoulders to use this precious gift of freedom which they received from their countrymen who have sacrificed their lives to achieve this.
