Asks leadership to consult them before framing protest programmes

Kashmir Traders and Manufacturing Federaton (KTM) on Wednesday met with Hurriyat (M) chairman, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq at his residence and asked him to consult them before framing protest programmes.In a statement issued to KNS, KTMF said that they met with Mirwaiz and discussed various issues related to the ongoing situation of Kashmir.They said that KTMF delegation led by Advocate Haji Mushtaq Ahmad Sagar said that they told Mirwaiz that besides giving financial sacrificing have also given the sacrifices of lives as well.They asked Mirwaiz to consult them at every time as there is lot of contribution of traders and transporters in this freedom struggle. “We are aware about the failure of agitations in 2008 and 2010 but at this point of time when people including women, children, old are sacrificing their lives, we don’t want to the fail this agitation at any cost,” they said.KTMF said that the strike programmes given by the separatist leadership should be followed.
