Srinagar , 03 Aug 2016

Cold blooded murder of two more innocent Kashmiris at Letpora and Chatabal has once again proved that trigger happy Indian forces armed with immunity are deployed to kill humans in Kashmir. Indian rulers along with their Kashmiri stooges who on daily basis issue statements to provide legal cover to killers are equally responsible for these massacres, said incarcerated chairman JKLF Muhammad Yasin Malik in a message from jail today.

JKLF leaders attend the funeral prayers of Chatabal martyr, participated in a peaceful protest at goal market Karan Nagar.According to a statement issued to KNS, while condemning the brutal killings of two more innocent Kashmiris at Letpora Awantipora and Chatabal Srinagar, JKLF incarcerated chairman Muhammad Yasin Malik who is languishing in central jail Srinagar, said that killings of two more Kashmiris and injuring many more has yet again exposed the fact that armed with black laws and immunity from any accountability, Indian forces have turned beasts who can kill anyone, anywhere at will.He said that killing a Kashmiri has become an ordinary thing for these trigger happy killers because they fear no accountability or facing justice. He said that time and again so-called Kashmiri rulers led by chief minister have been justifying the killings of Kashmiris by saying that the protesters attacked camps and police station and hence left no chance but to fire on them.

He said that though killings of many women, children and elderly and direct pellet firing on eyes and heads was enough to prove them liars but today the brutal murder of two more innocents among whom one Reyaz Ahmad of Chatabal was on duty during night and was killed by a pellet gun and other was fired upon straight at Letpora is exposing the lies of these hypocritical politicians who for the lust of power have stooped to new lows of shame and callousness. Yasin Malik said that today so-called chief minister should answer that which camp or police station were these two people attacking upon? He said that besides Indian governments their stooges in Kashmir; pro-India politicians, political parties, assembly members and rulers are directly responsible for these massacres and killings because it is these people who from 1947 till date have been legalizing these killings and providing necessary legal cover to the killers. While paying rich tributes to martyrs, incarcerated JKLF chairman expressed solidarity with their bereaved families and said that Kashmiri nation is indebted to these great men and women and we pledge to take forward their mission at any cost.

Terming the ongoing peoples resistance in Jammu Kashmir as an eye opener for India and the rest of the world, Yasin Malik said that today people of Jammu Kashmir are asking for freedom from illegal occupation with one voice and time is not far when Indian deaf leaders and those among international community who prefer trade relations over human tragedies will have to heed to Kashmiri voices.Appealing Kashmiris especially the brave youth of Kashmir to maintain discipline, unity and brotherhood during resistance, Yasin Malik said that freedom struggles are long battles between truth and falsehood and during these times we have to look into our ranks and remain beware of those who are indulging in defaming our sacred movement by attacking common people. He said that reports of attacks on ambulances, doctors, medical staff, and journalists and on those who are forced to come out of their houses are worrying and freedom lovers and those resisting the might of India will have to clean the ranks of resistance from those who through their anti-people and anti-human acts want to defame resistance movement. While strongly condemning the ongoing oppression in Kashmir valley, JKLF chief said that at Bandepora, Aswoora and Kanalwan Bejibihara Indian army has unleashed a reign of terror against common Kashmiris and the height of the highhandedness is that Banderpora village road that crosses through an army camp has been closed down for common people virtually locking down thousands of humans in that viallage.

Same state sponsored terrorism is being repeated in Kounsar colony, Gulshan colony in Palpora and other areas of the Kashmir valley where looting and vandalizing residential houses has become the order of the day.Meanwhile JKLF vice chairman Mushtaq Ahmad Ajmal along with zonal organizer Bashir Ahmad Kashmiri, Jan Muhammad, Bashrat Ahmad and Shahid Makaya today participated in the funeral prayers and burial of Chatabal martyr Reyaz Ahmad. The funeral prayers of the martyr where held at Mazar I Shuhada Eidgah and prior to that thousands of people took his corpse from Chatabal to Eidgah in a peaceful procession. JKLF leaders also participated in the procession and met with the bereaved family and expressed solidarity with them. Before this JKLF leaders and activists participated in a peaceful protest sit-in at goal market Karanagar. This protest sit-in was organized as per the program announced by the joint resistance leadership and besides JKLF leaders large number of people from all walks of life participated in the sit-in and raised their voice for freedom from illegal occupation.
