Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi accompanied by JKPCC Chief G.A. Mir visited injured in AIIMS  New Delhi, the youngsters with grievous injuries namely Insha (Sedho Shopian), Asif (Khanabl Anantag),Junaid (Qazigund), Firdous (Sopore) and Zahid (Sopore) are undergoing treatment in AIIMS. Both enquired about their condition. Rahul Gandhi met all the five injured and prayed for their speedy recovery, he expressed his sympathies to them.Expressing distress over the grievous injuries caused due to pellets, Rahul Gandhi said that use of lethal weapons should be restrained. He termed current unrest in the valley as most unfortunate.

Meanwhile,  People’s Democratic Party leader and Legislative Council member, Vikramaditya Singh Tuesday night visited AIMS in New Delhi where five young boys from Kashmir Valley are admitted. They are undergoing treatment for pellet injuries caused during the recent clashes with Indian forces. He inquired from the attendants and relatives and the nursing staff about the care being provided by the hospital.They assured that all medical expenses and food was being provided free of cost to the patients and their attendants.
