Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2 organized Investors Awareness Program on Financial Inclusion through Financial Education in collaboration with Chandigarh Management Association and Citizen Awareness Group. Amit Pradhan, Regional Director, SEBI was the Chief Guest on the occasion, Suryakant Sharma, DGM, SEBI, Rana Usman, Sr. AVP, NSE and Renu Bhandari, Chief Manager, NSE were the Guest of Honours on the occasion. At the moment students were  educate  about the benefits of financial markets and opportunities to grow wealth.

Surinder Verma, Chairman, Citizen Awareness gave information about investments and pertinent factors to be considered while deciding about investments and precautionary measures that should be strictly observed by investors. He also informed about increasing awareness and of the benefits of investment opportunities through training and education .

Amit Pradhan, Regional Director, SEBI said at the moment  that SEBI’s role is ensuring fair trade and monitoring the financial market. He further said that Investors need to execute few mandatory and voluntary documents with a member broker. They must read them and should know the ‘do’s and don’ts’ of investing while entering the market.

Speaking on the occasion Chairman  ,Gian Jyoti ,J.S. Bedi said that such investor education programs would be very useful to guide youngsters. Nowadays multiple options and numerous opportunities are available in stock markets and financial markets. As the economy of our country is getting bigger and better, such seminars showcase various wealth creation opportunities.Concluding the seminar Dr. Aneet Bedi, Director, GJIMT and President, CMA extended a vote of thanks to all speakers, for sharing their valuable thoughts.
