The President of India, Pranab Mukherjee hosted an Iftar Reception today (July 1, 2016) at Rashtrapati Bhavan. The President conveyed Ramzan greetings to all. He urged everyone to spread love, affection and mutual trust during this holy month. He expressed the hope that the spirit of Ramzan will instill in every Indian a sense of unity and pride in the composite culture of India. Dignitaries who attended the Iftar included Mohd. Hamid Ansari, the Vice-President of India; Shri Arun Jaitley, Union Minister of Finance, Corporate Affairs and Information and Broadcasting; Shri Ghulam Nabi Azad, Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha; Shri Arvind Kejriwal, Chief Minister of Delhi; Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi, Minister of State for Minority Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs; Smt.
