Independent councilor from Ludhiana, Daljeet Singh Grewal on Monday joined Aam Aadmi Party in the presence of hundred of his supporters. Grewal also contested Vidhan Sabha elections from Ludhiana (East) as an independent candidate and fetched around 25000 votes.After the joining, AAP Punjab Incharge, Sanjay Singh and Punjab Convenor, Sucha Singh Chhotepur said that it is good that people who are tirelessly working for the society are joining AAP. Chhotepur said that Grewal won the elections without any party logo that shows that he has his individual repute in the society. Sanjay Said that Grewal will be given due respect in the party.
AAP senior leaders Himmat Singh , Jasbir Singh Bir, Aman Arora and Karanbir Singh Tiwana were also present on the occasion.Addressing the journalists, Grewal said that AAP’s mission against corruption and misrule attracted him to join the party. He said that his sole political target is to weed out criminalization and misrule from Punjab. He said that above any personal gain he will work as a dedicated worker of AAP for the welfare of the society.
