Minister for Industries and Commerce Chander Prakash Ganga today launched development works worth Rs 1 crore in Vijaypur and Bari Brahmana areas.The development works include construction work of Common Facility Centre at Channi Kartholi(Bari Brahmana) involving a cost of Rs 96.44 lakh, construction of a culvert at Rs 8 lakh and construction of boundary wall at Rs 3.20 lakh of Government Primary School in village Marhoon of Vijaypur block.The Minister directed the concerned agencies to use quality material and ensure timeline completion of the works.After the launch of work at Channi Kartholi, the Minister said the Government is working for all round development of the state to raise the living standard of the people both in rural and urban areas.   

He said the Government has delivered on ground to meet the aspirations of the people.Congratulating the locals for upcoming CFC in the area, the   Minister said that the centre would benefit them in number of ways.“This can be used for holding community and national functions, for organizing skill upgradation programmes for the youth and for many other purposes” he said. He also thanked the Minister for Rural Development for the approval of CFC with adequate funds.The villagers also put forth local issues and demands and sought adequate water supply to their respective areas. The Minister assured the people that the issues projected by them would be looked into for an early redressal.ACD Tilak Raj Thapa, SDM Vijaypur Ravinder Sharma, CEO O P Bhagat, Executive Engineer PWD(R&B) Dinesh Rampal, BDO Vijaypur Dr. Anirudh Rai, BDO Bari Brahmana Aijaz Qaiser, concerned officers and locals were also present on the occasion.
