Oakridge International School  organised Inter-House Extempore Competition at its campus whereby stalwart Students of different houses  not only participated but exhibited their latent abilities to express their views  about on the spot topics given to them,  within a stipulated time. The main ideology behind the competition was to make the budding orators have an interface with the stage and overcome their stage fright thereby expressing their views more confidently and precisely.  The winners of the competitions were selected on the basis of content, confidence, flow and presentation of the ideas.

The first prize in the competition was bagged by Ashvika of 6th class, the second prize went to Niharika Suri of class 8th   and the third prize  was grabbed by Master Sehajveer Singh of Grade 9 The Principal of the School Ramanjit Ghuman appreciated and congratulated the young speakers for coming up with such wonderful ideas and urged the other students to participate enthusiastically to emerge as more confident conversationalists. According to her it was a great endeavour whereby the students learned that it’s not all about winning but the spirit to do their best.
