The Secretary Tourism, floriculture gardens and parks Farooq Ahmad Shah on the instructions of CM visited the proposed sight of mega park site at Bhour Garhi Garh Jammu where the land measuring 563 kanals has been transferred to the Department of floriculture gardens and parks.The secretary was accompanied by Director Floriculture Jammu KK Sharma and other officials of the Department.He was informed that a project worth 37 crore has been submitted to GoI for approval to execute the work for making this proposed park a point of attraction for the visitors and tourists.The secretary said that CM is keen to develop such infrastructure for boosting the tourism industry and such infrastructure will also be of utility to the common public as well.The secretary instructed the officials to grow and maintain it well by using all the available resources and expertise so that it becomes ready by September 2016, He advised the Director floriculture Jammu to expedite the work on such projects and furnish all the details and data about the current status of gardens and parks in Jammu region so that a revised plan for developing the floriculture, gardens and parks in Jammu region is professionally designed.
