The Union Minister for Food Processing Mrs Harsimrat Kaur Badal today holding Congress responsible for 1984 anti-Sikh riots said that the files related to attack on Sri Darbar Sahib during the Op Blue Star should be made public so that the truth is brought before people.After distributing grants to panchayats during sangat darshan of villages of Buladhewala and Burj Mehma. while talking to the mediapersons Mrs Badal said that the files related to most pious plac for Sikhs be made public when tanks and cannons were used in precincts of the holy place so that people know the truth behind this horrendous episode. She said that with the the details coming out, the directions issued at that time too would be made public. She added that the roles of Congress leaders Jagdish Tytler and Sajjan Kumar will be re-investigated in the entire episode on the basis of facts that were concealed. 

Answering media query on Punjab's economical health Mrs Badal said that the state's financial condition was totally strong. Condemning the misleading campaign launched by opposition,  she said since the state was in pink of financial health, it was able to succesfully implement a large number of welfare schemes in states. She said that in the last nine years, state has set new records of development and implementation of welfare schemes for its people. She added that the opposition should refrain from giving political color to developmental issues. She added that the massive developmental strides Punjab has taken is the proof of its success.On being asked about the new affidavit filed in Supreme Court by the Arvind Kejriwal led Delhi government pertaining to SYL, Mrs Badal said the dual politics of AAP in the election year has been exposed. She added that the flip-flop statements of AAP and its chief on SYL issue proves that the party leadership say different things at different times and hence people should beware of such politicians. 

The Union Minister told Mr Kejriwal that if he really was supporter of Punjab's water, it should file an affidavit in court stating that it stood by Punjab government on this issue.Congratulating the district Bathinda panchayats and zila parishad for being honored by the Prime Minister Mr Narendra Modi on the occasion of National Panchayat Day she encouraged the bodies to improve their working further. She conducted sangat darshan of different villages today wherein she distributed grants for initiating various developmental works. Former MP Lok Sabha Mrs Paramjit Kaur Gulshan, Deputy Commissioner Dr Basant Garg, ADC (D) Mrs Shena Aggarwal, Dr Om Prakash Sharma and others were also present.
