Chairman Hurriyat Conference (G) Syed Ali Geeelani thanked the people for observing a complete shutdown today saying Kashmir’s by protesting against harassment of Kashmiri students and vandalizing of martyrs graveyard and warns if something happens to our dear ones studying outside the J&K Indian government are wholly and solely responsible for that.He said, we will chart out a comprehensive program along with all pro freedom camps to defend our students who are studying outside the J&K if such incidents not stopped.Geelani in his statement to KNS said, the government should not be complacent about the current lull as it has always proved to precursor to the coming storm.

Castigating the Indian media and governments role over the mere NIT incident, Geelani said under a well thought out plan Indian biased media trying to malign the image of the Kashmir and by that Kashmir’s living outside the J&K is in a state of fear and attacked continuously. While terming the government actions as sheer hooliganism the way they putting Hurriyat (G) leaders Ayaz Akber, Sehrai, Raja Mehraj Din Ashraf Laya and hundreds of others either house arrest or behind the bars every now and then is a clear indications that all the state affairs are controlled by Indian agencies and MUFTIs government is nothing then a mute spectator and paralyzed and said that by choking our political activities not only complicated the issue but tends to have serious reactions on ground.
