Medical Employees Ferderation, Government Medical College Srinagar and Associate Hospitals staged a protest inside the premises of GMC Srinagar to press their demands of regularization of various sections of employees working in different hospitals of Kashmir valley.Addressing a huge gathering The President of All Hospitals Associated with GMC, Srinagar highlighted the issues of the employees of Associate Hospitals. The federation discussed the charter of demands already submitted to the Principal/Dean, Government Medical College, Srinagar in a meeting held with him previously. Aggitating employees were demanding regularization of HDF/SDF and  employees working on Contractual and Adhoc basis, Regularization of employees working in Academic Arrangement Basis, Disparty in the pay scale, enhancement of Wages already announed by the then Hon'ble Health Minister, Three months Maternity leave to the Academic, Adhoc and SDF female employees with Wages, Convening of DPC of all cadres. Meanwhile, the protest dispersed peacefully.
