Punjab Chief Minister  Parkash Singh Badal today expressed profound grief and sorrow over the most brutal and heinous terrorist attacks in Brussels in which over 250 people were injured and 31 innocent lost their lives on Monday.In a condolence letter to the Belgium Ambassador in India Mr. Jan Luykx, the Chief Minister said that this brutal act of violence was an outrage against mankind and deserved to be condemned in the strongest possible words by one and all, regardless of religion, region, nation or any other persuasion. “I personally and on behalf of the people and government of Punjab  strongly condemn the cult of violence which has no respect for human life and for sacred values of peace, love  and understanding among people professing different faiths”, said Mr. Badal.Sharing heartfelt sympathies with aggrieved families, Mr. Badal said that they fully share the agony and sorrow of these bereaved families inflicted with this inhuman tragedy and assured them through him (Mr. Luykx) that they stood by them in their hour of extreme grief. “The people of Punjab joined him in extending to you not only our deepest sense of shock, grief and outrage over these mindless acts but also our complete solidarity and support to the peace loving people of Belgium,” added Mr. Badal.
