The results of Khadoor Sahib Assembly bye poll was declared today with the Shiromani Akali Dal candidate Mr. Ravinder Singh Brahmpura winning the seat by a margin of 65664 votes while Bhupinder Singh Independent got 17416 votes.Disclosing this here today, the Chief Electoral Officer Punjab Mr. V.K.Singh said that total seven candidates were in fray. Total 109593 valid votes were polled and the winning candidate got 83080 in all. Puran Singh Sheikh of Bahujan Samaj Party (Ambedkar) got 1815, Anantjit Singh Sandhu Independent candidate could get 1621, Sukhdev Singh Khosla , Independent got 677, Dr. Sumail Singh Sidhu Independent got 2243, Harjit Singh Independent got 489.According to Mr. Singh as many as 2252 voters opted for none of the above (NOTA) option.
