Two CRPF personnel, including a Sub- inspector were injured when militants lobbed a grenade on the paramilitary party in Bijbehara area of south Kashmir's Anantnag district on Tuesday. Eyewitnesses told CNS that a CRPF patrolling party of 90 Battalion came under attack near New Colony Arwani. The grenade exploded with a bang creating panic in the area. Reports said that two CRPF personnel, a Sub-Inspector and a constable were injured in the attack. CRPF according to eyewitnesses fired some gun shots in air shortly after the attack.Reports said that shortly after the attack the area was cordoned off and a search operation was launched to nab the militants.
