The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Friday said that it will carry forward the vision and mission of the late chief minister Mufti Muhammad Sayeed with steadfast resolve.Speaking to reporters, senior PDP leader and former Education Minister Naeem Akhtar said: "Mufti Sahib's vision and mission will be carried forward with steadfast resolve."He was commenting on the present stalemate over government formation as PDP president Mehbooba Mufti has so far not staked her claim to form the next state government. When asked how much time it will take to form a government in the State, Akhtar said: "I can't say how much time the whole thing will take.""She (Mehbooba Mufti) has to speak to senior party leaders to seek their opinion on the issue, but the message for our workers at the moment is that despite hardships and difficulties in the past, we have carried forward the mission of Mufti Sahib and will do so with steadfast resolve in the future also," he said.
