CRPF donated sports Infrastructure, Computers and other peripheral devices to various Schools of Srinagar. 54 BN CRPF donated Badminton Rackets and other accessories to Govt. Middle School Gupt Ganga Nishat, Srinagar and Govt. Higher Secondary School New Theed, Harwan, Srinagar.A CRPF spokesman said the event was presided over by KK Sharma, DIG CRPF, Srinagar (South Range) under supervision of SA.K. Bhardwaj, Commandant 54 BN C.R.P.F in the presence of Commandant 151 BN BSF, Media persons and Staff members of School where A new Badminton Court was handed over to Govt. Middle School Gupt Ganga Nishat, which has been constructed by 54 BN CRPF. In another similar event, Computers and peripheral accessories were donated to Govt. Senior Secondary School Kandijan, Budgam by 181 BN CRPF where the event was presided over by D.S.Grewal, Commandant 181 BN CRPF.In another act of extending humanitarian help to the needy people of Kashmir, 162 BN CRPF, DPL Kupwara organized a Free Medical Camp in Gujarwashan Area of North Kashmir. The event was conducted under close supervision of Shri. A.N.Pandey Comandant 162 BN CRPF, District Police Line, Kupwara. 

As many as 400 women/children availed free medical consultancy by Doctors of CRPF and Civil Hospital. Free medicines, Vitamins, Sanitary Equipments and other items were also distributed free among all the arriving patients. This is the third time when 162 BN CRPF has portrayed its noble visage, especially towards poor and needy women of the area to bring about improvement in their health profile. “Through civic action programs, CRPF is constantly endeavouring to improve Sports facilities and computer literacy among students of Kashmir Valley, so that a spirit of sports and computer education to nurture their talent. Central Reserve Police Force, Srinagar Sector is also determined to bring about improvement in Health Profile of poor women and children of remote areas. This will certainly help them to come at par with mainstream population of other developed regions. (KNS)
