Taking suo-motto notice of the gruesome killing of a boy belonging to SC community at Abohar, Punjab SC commission today summoned ADGP crime. Mr. Iqbalpreet Singh Sahota today deposed before the SC Commission and the Commission has directed the police to submit action taken report of this incident till December 21. On the other hand the Commission asked the Punjab Government to send this rarest of the rare incident of inhuman torture and killing of a Dalit community member to fast track court for  delivering speedy justice to aggrieved family and message of justice to the state.Disclosing this here today Mr. Rajesh Bagha, Chairman SC Commission said that the Abohar incident is the crime against humanity and such ghastly crime could not be ignored in a civilized society. He said that the social fabric in Punjab would not be allowed to be disturbed by such act. 

He said that ADGP Crime has been directed to set up a SIT to expedite the investigation, put up a foolproof against offenders besides submitting the same to the fast track court to ensure deterrent punishment to the guilty. The Commission also sought the report the progress to commission on daily basis.He said that Mr. Sahota has informed the commission that an FIR under section 302, 307, 326, 148, 149 IPC has been register against 11 persons in police station Bahaw wala and four persons have already been arrested in this case whereas teams have been constituted to nab the other absconding accused. Mr. Bagha said that one of the victims whose limbs have been chopped off is still critical and unconscious and he is unable to give statement to the police.It may be added that commission led by Mr. Rajesh Bagha was first to reach the family of victims and after observing of the crime summoned the ADGP today in his office.
