A meeting of the Committee on Government Assurances was held today under the chairmanship of MLA Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen.Legislators, Nawang Rigzin Jora, Kamal Arora, Dr. Gagan Bhagat and Noor Mohammad Sheikh were present in the meeting.Speaking on the occasion, the chairman stressed upon the officers to work with utmost dedication for resolving public issues. He further asked to strictly adhere to the government policy regarding prohibition of agriculture land for construction and commercial purposes.Yaseen also urged officers to maintain the custodian property with utmost care as the state is the guardian of the property of those people who left the state especially the property which has brought seen under income generating units.Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Dr. Pawan Kotwal, Secretary Revenue Mr. Mohammad Afzal, Custodian General, Mr Mohammad Javaid Khan and other senior officers of Revenue, Custodian and Assembly secretariat attended the meeting.
